Obama Commissions New Monument for America’s Worst Presidents
The faces of Mt. Incompetent: James Buchanan, Warren G. Harding, Millard Fillmore and Herbert Hoover.

KEYSTONE, SOUTH DAKOTA — President Obama is scheduled to take a trip to Mount Rushmore and announce a new jobs program for the state of South Dakota: construction of a second monument.
However, unlike the first Mount Rushmore, which depicted some of the top presidents in US history, the second monument will feature some of the worst. President Obama told the large crowd outside Mount Rushmore, “Fox News is right – I have to stop apologizing for this country’s past mistakes. It’s time to erect a monument highlighting some losers of the past.”
The new monument, dubbed “Mt. Incompetent,” will feature the heads of four of the most lackluster presidents from the past including James Buchanan, Warren G. Harding, Millard Fillmore and Herbert Hoover. Each of the chosen presidents represents a travesty in the history of the United States, either for contributions to slavery, the economy or the solidification of the union.
President Obama hopes the monument will not only provide South Dakota with thousands of jobs, but will continue to prove to his adversaries that he is actually not the worst president in US history. A spokesman for the White House told The Washington Fancy, “The only road block standing in the way of getting the monument built is proper funding. However, with how much Republicans love to celebrate incompetence and mediocrity, they should have no problem approving the project.”
