Ron Paul Arrested Outside Of Ross Perot’s Home
DALLAS –Throughout Ron Paul’s campaign, there have been comparisons made to Ross Perot’s prior attempts at the presidency. The extent of this obsession was uncovered late Sunday night when Ron Paul was arrested outside of Ross Perot’s Dallas home.
Donald Jay, head of Ross Perot’s personal security team, called 911 after spotting a suspicious character outside of the residence. When police arrived on the scene, the perpetrator was promptly identified as Ron Paul. Paul was booked for trespassing and released after his wife posted bail.
“I knew he idolized Perot, but I didn’t think Paul would go this far,” said Jay to the arresting officer. “He should be held in a psych facility for observation rather than being allowed to continue roaming the streets freely. This is not normal behavior.” Jay is now in the process of hiring additional guards to ensure the protection of Perot.
Donald Jay is not the only person to express concern. Audrey Bettison, a Dallas resident who rushed to the precinct where Paul was being held, stated that “America needs a woman president before a psycho one. Get this guy outta the running,” she angrily commanded reporters. Since this happened late last night, there have been no new polls, so the remainder of America has yet to weigh in. Political analysts predict a steep drop off in Paul supporters.
Ron Paul’s camp has yet to release any statements, yet unconfirmed sources suggest that one will be released in the next day or so. A hearing date for Paul has not been set at this time.
