Wasserman Schultz Signed Obama Up to Volunteer at Israeli Kibbutz This Summer

By S. G. Lawrence

JERUSALEM After reporting on several recent setbacks in Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s “Operation NO EXODUS,” The Washington Fancy has now uncovered stunning new developments in the DNC’s continued efforts at rallying disaffected Jewish voters for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

At a press conference held just before the Memorial Day weekend, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney dodged several questions about the administration’s reaction to Wassserman Schultz’s seemingly sisyphean efforts at “Schlepping” for Obama in South Florida.

But emails obtained by The Washington Fancy from Wasserman Schultz’s office under the Freedom of Information Act reveal that notwithstanding recent political controversies in Boca Raton and Miami, the Florida Congresswoman was instrumental in arranging for the President to volunteer at a Kibbutz in Israel for a week in July.

Kibbutz Manara, where President Obama is scheduled to spend a week picking apples and tending chickens, is located in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel by the Lebanese border. The Kibbutz is famous for having been visited by author Leon Uris while conducting research for his 1958 novel, Exodus.

Wasserman Schultz’s “Jewish outreach liaison” Dani Gilbert – recently chastised for a Facebook photo of herself and several girlfriends with the tag “Jewbags” – wrote to Kibbutz officials explaining that the DNC wanted to produce a campaign video describing the enormous impact of Exodus on President Obama. “Just as presidential biographies posted on the White House Website reflect how the President has furthered the historical achievements of every past president since Calvin Coolidge, Operation NO EXODUS’s video, ‘Springing For A Two-State Solution,’ will demonstrate how he has carried out not only the vision of Israeli leaders like David Ben Gurion, Golda Meir, Moshe Dayan and Yitzhak Rabin, but also that of PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat. This video will be fair and balanced.”

A spokesperson for the White House confirmed that First Lady Michelle will not be staying at Kibbutz Manera for the week, but will instead be staying in an undisclosed location with Asma-al-Assad, the wife of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The dictator’s wife made headlines when she appeared in a Vogue profile last year portraying her as a modern and glamorous “reformer.”

In a phone call with Wasserman Schultz’s Florida office, TWF learned that barring any unforeseen security concerns, the Florida Congresswoman would be hosting a free, public screening of Exodus at Miami International Airport’s El Al terminal just before her departure to join President Obama in Israel. Kosher-style refreshments are expected to be served.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a Democrat hack who is completely detached from her constituents. She has tried simultaneously being DNC Chair and a Representative but has failed miserably at both. The recall failure was HER failure. We are sick of her lies and blind support of Obama’s destructive policies. We in District 23 need a full time congressmember and Joe Kaufman is the one who will defeat Wasserman Schultz.
