Obama and Romney Name Each Other as Running Mates
WASHINGTON — In a surprise move, President Barack Obama has named Mitt Romney as his running mate for the November election. Romney responded by selecting Obama as his.
“The election will still decide who will be the boss,” explained John Kerry’s brother, Harry, an administration insider. “They are just finally admitting that both parties are just two sides of the same coin.”
“I believe this may be the best way for the Democratic Party to reach across the aisle in an unprecedented, truly substantive way,” the President revealed during a press conference on the matter.
“I figure if it keeps us all employed on Capitol Hill, it’s all good,” chimed in Romney. “I like to think of it as a positive job retention move on the administration’s part. See? Who says we can’t agree.”
After the jocular exchange, the duo jointly announced no matter who wins the election, the name of the next president of the United States will be called Mick Obamney.
