Necktie Industry to American People: “We’re the Real Victims of this Election”

By Steven Tobiasz

WASHINGTON – Robert Forrister, a spokesman for the NTA (National Tie Association), said on Wednesday that he was unhappy with the lack of support and respect shown by each party’s candidate and that his group is being neglected.

“The past several weeks have gotten ‘casual’ on the campaign trail as both presidential and vice presidential candidates have ditched the standard look of neckties and suit jackets for a more casual look. This is not only upsetting to my group, but it is insulting their very purpose,” Forrister added.

The NTA blames the recent change in attire on both candidates for attempting to connect with the American people instead of playing politics as usual.
