Desperate to Regain Lead, Obama Shoots Self in Foot to Incite “White Guilt” Among Undecided Voters

By Steve Tobiasz

WASHINGTON—An ABC Gallup poll released earlier this week revealed some troubling results for the Obama campaign.

The poll, conducted in eight swing states across the country, asked white, undecided voters who they favored more in the election. The results of the poll favored Republican nominee Mitt Romney, with 56 percent of those surveyed saying they would vote for him, and just 41 percent saying they would re-elect President Obama. With news of this spreading quickly around Washington, the Obama campaign organized a new strategy in an effort to gain more support among those undecided, white voters.

“At 8 A.M. this morning, Mr. Obama shot himself in the leg with a semi-automatic Glock firearm,” a campaign manager explained. “This is part of a new strategy Vice President Biden came up with, in an effort to enact what he referred to as “white guilt.” Nobody knows if President Obama’s shooting will spark a ‘white guilt jump” in the polls since new numbers haven’t been released.

Nevertheless, this strategy is nothing new to the Obama campaign.  In 2008, they pulled similar emotions out of undecided, white voters by simply asserting how difficult it is to be a young, black man competing against a rich, elderly, white man. Mr. Obama will fully recover from his gunshot wound. The plan will go into full effect in the next 48 hours after his office releases a press statement.
